Innovative ad format reached 2.1 million users across India on Women’s Day
mCanvas, the experiential storytelling ad platform for small screens, won the ‘Best Mobile Marketing Campaign – Overall’ at the mCube (Masters of Mobile Marketing) Conference and Awards organized by Inkspell Media. This ad campaign was created in collaboration with MediaCom.
To make women around the country feel special on the occasion of International Women‘s Day, an interactive ad was created by mCanvas where messages of inspiration and encouragement were shared. Users could write custom messages or use of the many templates to draft one. Next, users would swing their phones to send their message to others. Tilting and swiping the phone would let them read messages shared by other women.
The campaign was executed on premium women-centric mCanvas partner websites. Over 33,000 users, across the country, engaged with the creative and composed 2,300 new messages in multiple languages, in a single day.
